Semi-private Personal Training.

Semi-private training is a unique concept in the world of gyms, classes and personal training… So here’s what to expect from WESTCA’s semi-private training classes.

  • There will be 3-6 people in a session with a trainer at one time. You are not responsible for filling a session.

  • No, this is NOT a bootcamp. You are still doing a program that aligns with your goals, your fitness level, and your workout schedule.

  • If the gym is a brand new place to you we DO NOT recommend semi-private training. For your safety we would recommend starting with private training so that you can learn how to do all the movements safely. Many beginners start with private training then transfer to semi-private training once they and their trainer feel comfortable in their progress.

  • You will be assigned to a trainer that fits your goals and schedule. You stick with this trainer so they can track your progress, learn what motivates you, and program your workouts accordingly.

  • Yes. We have a generous 12 hour notification policy of cancellations, in this case you will have 4 weeks to make up your missed session. If you are traveling or have planned absences, let your trainer know ahead of time and we can front load your makeup sessions and schedule accordingly.

  • All semi-private clients get monthly inbody testing (a body composition measurement, including body fat percentage) and you are encouraged to take progress photos. This allows us to measure your progress, tweak your training regime AND help with accountability.

  • First and foremost, It’s A LOT of fun. The small group atmosphere breeds friendships, networking opportunities, helps keep our clients motivated and gives you that extra push. Most semi-private clients know the basics of the gym but really need help staying accountable and pushing themselves enough to see results. Clients also benefit from the stress relief that comes with exercising with a trainer and in a fun atmosphere.

  • Prices start at $390 a month and vary depending on how many times and week and length of commitment. All our personal training memberships include the cost of your gym membership (so you can use the gym outside of your training days).
